Yes! Raison D’etre is a french translation for “reason for life” – living for something that gives life meaning.
We believe there is more to making a living than punching a clock and showing up for other people’s dreams. You were made so wonderfully unique and were made for so much more. It took our founder a long time to find her raison d’etre. Once she realized what hers was she set off to change the lives of others one start-up and small business at a time.
What does the bee icon symbolize?
The bee symbolizes hard work, diligence, industriousness, and orderliness. It also symbolizes community, brightness, and personal power. All of these characteristics represent our business and our Mission.
We are also paying homage back to the founder’s love for interior design, where she discovered her favorite fabric, The Napoleonic Bee.
While we aren’t trying to take over the world, we would like to help build an empire of strong & powerful business owners. Only we hope for a different outcome than Napoleon.
Finally, we felt drawn to the Napoleonic bee because we may be small but are mighty.
What services can't you perform?
While we would love to do everything for everyone. It’s not possible in personal or professional life. Sometimes, it’s best just to say, “Thank you for this opportunity, but unfortunately, that is not our wheelhouse”.
